# Lesson 1 Homework — Project or operations? **Time:** 15–20 minutes. **Goal:** Train your eye to spot projects in your own life, so you can start thinking like a project manager. ## Steps 1. **List 5 things** you did in the last month (at work, at home, or anywhere else). Write each on its own line. 2. **Label each one** as PROJECT or OPERATIONS using the lesson's test: does it ever finish with something new in your hands (project), or does it repeat forever (operations)? 3. **For the projects:** write one sentence for each saying what the "finished" moment looks like — the unique result. 4. **Pick one project** from your list and answer: who was steering it toward the finish line? If no one was, who should have been? ## What "done" looks like A short list of 5 items with labels, a "finished" sentence for each project, and one reflection sentence on who managed (or should have managed) your chosen project. Keep it — you'll reuse this list in Lesson 26 when we build a project charter.
